WHAT IS THIS BADLY PRINTED flyer ALL ABOUT?
Hey, I’m Gloria, the photographer and documentary filmmaker behind The Mother’s Eye.
I’m so glad you scanned. I know you’re probably mid-errand or chasing a little one right now, so I’ll be quick: you are doing the most important work in the world and it deserves to be more than just a blurry snap on your phone.
You should have photos of you as a mother that could live on a postcard. You may feel you're too tired, too "out of shape", too messy to be photographed. But from where I’m standing, your "ordinary" Tuesday already looks like a cinematic masterpiece. Let me capture you in it.
What you'll get:
- No Posing: I don't do "cheese" or matching outfits.
- Real Life: I document the grit, the grace, and the chaos in between.
- You're Included: It’s time you moved from behind the lens and into the frame.
PS. Sorry for the quality of the flyers. I almost went to war with the printers but just don't have the bandwidth. I had to embrace my "mum of multips" philosophy here - "done is better than perfect". Still, my cinematographer's soul is dying inside for all those poor shadows crunched beyond their limits :/

Ready to start your story?
As a mum of 4, I know the feeling too well - like you're never quite picture-ready. The favourite jeans that will never fit, all the new scars and marks on the body. The matrescence - a term which recently made headlines as the season when a mother is born - is a real thing. This is a totally new you. Don't hide her behind the camera.

As a local mum of four (including twins), I am strictly a no-judgment zone. Whether your house is a mess or your toddler is mid-meltdown, I see the beauty in it.
